Eyes of Honey

by Sahory (age 9) | Partner Organization: Honduras Child Alliance

The Honduras Child Alliance is a diverse and collaborative, volunteer-based group, collectively working to make life better for impoverished children in Honduras.

Last night seated in my room I waited for you, to see your eyes of honey. And you never arrived my love, I don't know why this happened between us. I felt that this wouldn't work anymore and I wasn't mistaken. Only to see your eyes of honey again even though it's the last time. I miss you a lot although you don't believe it, I miss you from my heart and I don't want you to forget my love. You are to me very important and I know that you know that what happened this night doesn't matter to me & the only thing that I want is to love you.

Darkness fall I wait for you But you never come You never come A ghost You burn in the back of my mind Every night Every night Golden iris Honey eyes I love you so Why did you go Listen to me Come and find me I hold you dear I'm waiting here Honey eyes Call out your name But only silence is Coming out Is coming out I would change this If I could but the Chance is gone The chance is gone Golden iris Honey eyes I love you so Why did you go Listen to me Come and find me I hold you dear I'm waiting here Honey eyes Bridge I know you dont believe it But I'm lost without you Nothing else matters to me And maybe now it's too late But I just want to give you Every ounce of love I have in me Please dont leave Golden iris Honey eyes I love you so Why did you go Listen to me Come and find me I hold you dear I'm waiting here Honey eyes
