It's obvious that Mackenzie's family is very important to her since she starts her story with them. The final line "There was a blue roof" really struck me. I don't know if her house has a blue roof or the doll house, but I imagined Mackenzie, Michaela, Bella, Colin and their Mom all dancing around a house filled with love and with a blue roof. We all kind of live underneath a big blue roof don't we?

Mackenzies mom is one of the strongest women I know. She is an awesome Mom and has taken a tragedy by grabbing it by its horns and standing strong for herself and her children! We love her as a boss. I know she knows we are here to pick her up if she stumbles. Always.
