Northern California based Americana, folk duo Deux Coasts Marco Robledo and HaileyAnn launched their collaboration in early 2018. The meeting of the two artists was started by playing open mics at coffee shops in Roseville, California. This happened most notably at the Fig Tree Coffee & Music Lounge. The owner of the Fig Tree Coffee & Music Lounge Josh Lickter introduced Marco and HaileyAnn to each other after both were searching for a meaningful musical collaboration. Initially Marco hired HaileyAnn to feature on a six song album for an electronic dance project called Echo The Natives. Marco Robledo started playing guitar at the age of 15 and never stopped. He has deep influences from Led Zeppelin to Damien Rice. In the early years his musical path led him to play in metal bands throughout the late 90’s in the San Francisco Bay Area. Years later in 2013 the acoustic singer songwriter life came from traveling and living in Columbus, Ohio and Columbia, South Carolina. Marco traveled back home to his native state of California in 2015 to get back his musical roots. The result was to resurrect Deux Coasts in 2018 with HaileyAnn which was initially created in Columbus, Ohio with singer Dione Marcelo. ?HaileyAnn has been drawn to music her whole life. From school choir to performing in musicals and at family events. She started writing original songs at the age of 15, as a way of self expression to get her through life experiences. Vocal performance has always been her main focus but she also loves to delve into the world of writing lyrics and melodies. Some of her influences are The Civil Wars, The HoneyTrees, Lana Del Rey and many more.
