Hi! We're Wrevlonne, a 5-piece indie-pop band from San Antonio, TX. We formed in January of 2022, through a bizarre combination of "I know a guy" and, frighteningly, Craigslist. Luckily, it all turned out just peachy! Wrevlonne is Nate Jaworski (bass), Ken Williams (guitar), Gabe Wilcoxen (drums), Richard Fetchick (guitar), and Eddie Wagner (vocals). We came together and immediately started putting some fun, upbeat songs together. What does Wrevlonne sound like? Well, we blend 80's-influenced post-punk and new wave with the even further retro stylings of 70's surf, garage, and funk. Somehow that all combines into a modern indie-pop sound, with jangly melodic guitars driven by a tight driving rhythm section, and Eddie's low crooning vocals weaving in and out of the mix. We dig The Smiths, The Cure, David Bowie, Real Estate, Alvvays, The Strokes, Beach House, Mitski, The Beach Fossils, Future Islands, The Magnetic Fields, and a bunch of other bands.
