Adam McCauley is best described as a laid back, multi-instrumentalist who delivers a heartfelt performance as a singer songwriter performing his own brand of soulful acoustic blues. With an ever-expanding repertoire of alternative rock, country, and pop cover songs under his belt, Adam has enough material to entertain for hours.
As a music teacher, Adam shares his intense passion for music through instructing percussion, guitar, bass, and piano. He has taught at multiple music facilities such as Sarrin Music Studios, Tewksbury Music Center, Music Works in Tewksbury, as well as independently. In 2006 Adam developed and coordinated a Summer Guitar Boot Camp program for beginning guitar students. Presently he continues to teach independently and is accepting new students.
While performing in a band called Dystrophy, Adam opened for Ra in 2005 at the The Palace in Saugus, MA during WAAFs Rockpile.
Performing off the coast of Boston on Georges Island in 2007, Adam played the steel drum accompanied by an ensemble of his own compositions created with drum machines, programed bass algorithms, and synchronized/looped guitar recordings.
Adam has played bass and been a backup vocalist in a rock cover band called Bailout. Frequently performing at small bars, he entertained audiences singing campfire songs and playing acoustic guitar.
Currently Adam continues to work avidly towards delivering fresh material while engaging intimately with various audiences in a variety of settings and venues.
