Sam Crossland & The Side Effects

When I was reading this, I was struck by its honesty, it was a poem that spoke genuinely about life, and also gave a nod to the late Michael Jackson, of whom I am a fan. I decided I was gonna take these words and make a powerful song, it was only later I discovered that the author, Miles, was from the same town I grew up in, Westfield, NJ. It was a miraculous coincidence and it felt like fate. I just hope he likes it!
