I completed my BAH Major in Music degree from the University of Guelph in 2012. I am currently completing my first year of Graduate Studies in Music Therapy at Concordia University in Montreal. My research interests include music therapy for children in rehabilitative programs, the use of singing in parent-child bonding, singing and healing for children and women survivors of trauma and abuse, vocal psychotherapy, and the healing potential of aesthetic group singing.
My music therapy internship experience includes geriatrics and palliative care, educational music therapy for children and adolescences with developmental disabilities and cortical vision impairment, and rehabilitative music therapy for children in a rehabilitation hospital.
